North America has been asking more of us. More strategic conversations. More long-term partnerships. More organisations trusting SFL with the decisions that shape how they operate, scale, and compete.
That kind of growth demands senior leadership closer to the market — and it demands the right kind.
Jeffrey Osborn joins SFL Tech as Chief Revenue Officer, based in Pensacola, Florida.
Jeffrey brings more than 35 years of commercial leadership across technology services, with deep specialisation in logistics, cargo, transportation, and 3PL — building and scaling the commercial architecture that turns genuine capability into sustained market growth.
But the value of that experience is not simply its duration. It is that Jeffrey has spent an entire career solving a problem that most technology services companies eventually face — and that few resolve well.
A Career Built Around One Discipline
Jeffrey's career began in defence, aerospace, and government technology — a world where seeing across complex, interconnected systems is a foundational skill, not a differentiator. It shaped how he has operated ever since: listen carefully, understand the full picture, and then build something from what is already there but has not been connected yet.
From that foundation, he made a choice that most commercial leaders in technology services do not. Rather than building broad expertise across industries, he went deep into logistics, cargo, transportation, travel, and 3PL — and he stayed. Nearly four decades inside the same ecosystem, building relationships and credibility with the decision-makers who run the companies that move the world's freight.
The pattern across his career is consistent. He walks into organisations where the capability exists — where the talent is real, the delivery record is strong, and clients trust the work — but where nobody has assembled the full commercial picture yet. Nobody has built the infrastructure that connects what the company can do into something the market sees clearly and acts on repeatedly, at scale. That is what Jeffrey builds. Not campaigns. Growth architecture. The kind that outlasts any single deal or any single individual.
He did this at one of the world's largest consulting firms, unifying separate business units across regions into a single global practice worth half a billion dollars and growing revenues seventeen percent in the first year. He has built and led sales organisations generating more than four hundred million dollars in revenue. He has structured enterprise partnerships worth tens of millions — in one case by identifying cross-platform opportunities a customer did not know existed, in another by reframing what should have been a contract termination into a strategic expansion. And he has done this as a founder four times over, working alongside the leaders of technology services companies through the growth phases that define whether a business scales or stalls.
What This Means for Clients
When Jeffrey sits across the table from a logistics operator, he is not learning your language. He already speaks it. For SFL's clients in North America, his appointment changes several things in practical terms:
- A senior leader in your time zone, in your market. Someone you can reach directly, without layers, when the conversation matters.
- Deep industry fluency across logistics, cargo, freight forwarding, and 3PL. Not a generalist finding his footing, but someone who has spent decades inside the same operational world you operate in.
- A direct connection between your business direction and your technology roadmap. Someone who can help you see how your CargoWise environment and broader operational technology need to evolve alongside where your business is heading.
- A commercial leader who listens before he speaks. Whose instinct is to sit with what you are actually trying to solve and work backwards from there, not to lead with a solution looking for a problem.
Where SFL Is Going
Jeffrey joins at a point where our client relationships in North America are extending beyond individual technology requirements into broader questions about growth, operating models, and how technology should support what comes next.
The objective is not to become the largest partner in this market. It is to become the one whose clients trust us with the thinking around the work as much as the work itself.
Jeffrey's career has been built around exactly that kind of trust. His leadership philosophy reflects it: the leader's job is to make sure every person around them succeeds — the teams, the partners, and the clients whose confidence makes all of it possible.
The work we do alongside our clients is growing in complexity, in consequence, and in trust. Jeffrey strengthens how SFL grows with it.
Welcome to the team, Jeffrey.
